- When I was a kid it was German Shepherds. Then in the 70s, it became Dobermans. In the '90s it was Rotweilers. Now it's bull terriers. Next it will probably be some other breed.

- Re: Sandy Hook: Do I have this part right - the shooter turned the gun on himself when he heard the police sirens coming ? (maybe when he saw cops arrive ?) - In principle, I don't see a difference between forcing someone to help pay for that expensive emergency room/hospital to be there - which you'll want to be there to save your butt if you get hurt or have a heart attack - and forcing people to chip in to pay for ambulance/police/fire protect …
